History

Originally the site of the Stephen's Green Shopping Centre included the Dandelion market, well known as the site of some of U2's earliest concerts. It no longer exists but is commemorated with a plaque, while Sinnotts Barr on South King Street is the only part of the original site that remains. Work began on the Stephen's Green Shopping Centre in 1985, with the whole project taking 36 months to complete.

Stephen's Green Shopping Center
The centre opened its doors on the 8th November, 1988 and has gone from strength to strength ever since.
Located in the heart of the city at the top of Grafton Street, Dublin's best known and busiest thoroughfare, you'll find everything you need from fashion and footwear to, food and plenty of great gift ideas at the Stephen's Green Shopping Centre.  With a wide selection of stores, on three floors, and plenty of great facilities, shopping is well worthwhile and a pleasure in the bright, airy and spacious surroundings of the centre. The Stephen's Green Shopping Centre is within walking distance of all city centre bus routes / train stations & with the Luas terminus just across the road it couldn’t be easier to visit us, but if you're taking the car, don't forget that the centre has plenty of parking for stress free shopping.

Enjoy your time at the Stephen's Green Shopping Centre... Where Grafton Street Begins!
